Dance in the Fountains
You won't have a choice.
You will spend much of your life
worrying and working
and doing things you don't want to do.
So to nourish your soul
and revive your spirit,
make sure you also do things
to take care of you.
Make sure you take time
to dance in the fountains.
Feel the joy of the spray
Make sure you take time

as you splatter and splash.
Dance away your troubles
as the water falls around you,
catching the sun

in sparkle and flash.

Aah! So many things to nourish the soul and dancing in the fountain or in the rain is definitely one of mine. Love the poem!

Your poem is thought provoking. Yes, most of the time in our lives we worry and work and do things that we don't want to do. And we don't have time for any thing else although there are many simple things around us to make us happy. One such thing is dancing and dancing around the fountain. It surely nourishes our soul and revives our spirit and all our troubles vanish at least for a while.

take time to dance in the fountains just uplifted my spirits. I'm stuck at work, but I'm doing an inward Snoopy dance. (Also, I have your book headed my way - it's due in my mailbox Friday - hooray)

ReplyDeletePlaying and letting the joy shine through is very important, and something I try to do every day, but I'll pass on dancing in the fountain until the weather gets a little warmer.
