Connie I can't wait to see those flowers outside here too... it will truly mean it is spring here too... hopefully they will be blossoming very soon .... Have a lovely holiday weekend xox
Oh, great analogy! Love the photos too.
Love it, Connie... YES----it's a wonderful sign and feeling when Spring is HERE..... Sometimes it feels as if the winters last longer than other seasons... Ha....Have a fantastic weekend.Hugs,Betsy
Hello,Beautiful poem full of happiness and cheer. Lovely photos of daffodils. Unfortunately, these wonderful flowers are not seen where I live.Your poem reminded me of the poem on Daffodils by William Wordsworth which I had to learn by heart when I was in school. The following lines are firmly etched still in my mind.BESIDE THE LAKE, BENEATH THE TREES,FLUTTERING AND DANCING IN THE BREEZE.HAPPY EASTER
Yes! I am familiar with that poem. It is a wonderful one. :)
I love daffodils, so cheerful and fragrant.
Yes, daffodils are a sure sign of Spring!Lucky you.
There are most likely many daffofils blooming at our VA home and sadly we will miss seeing them as they will have bloomed out by the time we go there in late April. Thanks for sharing yours, Daisy, and best wishes for a happy spring and joyous Easter.
I love love love Spring....the plants and flowers are pushing out and the sun and warmth energizes. Happy Easter Connie and happy spring day.
ahh love the photos and the poem. The big daffodil garden in the next town is really blooming now.
That must be so pretty to see!
Daffodils offer the cheeriest acknowledgement of Spring!
a lovely welcome to spring indeed. Cute!
Yes! I love the image of daffodils serving as spring's reception line. :)
"Spring's reception line" <-wonderful wording!Enjoy, Connie.
What a lovely post! Thank you so much for sharing. :)
I don't see many daffodils down here like I did up north--but they wouldn't be special when we have things blooming all year :)
How lucky to have blooms year around! :)
This is simple but cute Connie. I love Daffadoils. They shout happiness, but sadly, we don't see many around here either.
Your words paint a lovely picture!
Thanks, everyone. Spring keeps coming and going here, trading days with winter like it can't make up it's mind whether to stay or not. We've had snow, hail, rain, sunshine, and widely varying temperatures in the past week. I hope spring is here to stay now.
I love the daffodil reception line! Ours haven't made an appearance yet, but soon I'm sure.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and leave a comment here. I hope you come back again. There's more where that came from!
